Providence Beach House

We think Carpinteria has the best and rarest of old-time California small town coastal living with all the amenities we need a quick walk away. Park the cars in dedicated off street parking and walk to brunch, then take the beach cruisers up the street or down the Rincon Bike Trail to Ventura! The patio has all the beach toys, umbrellas, Frisbees, and skim boards you need for an afternoon in the sand. Play table tennis or volleyball down at the beach, then shower off in the private outdoor shower. Fire up the natural gas custom grill after prepping in the fully appointed kitchen ready for you to whip up your specialty, then settle in for an evening around the fire pit on the patio, s’mores and all.

The home is well-appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Each room has top quality linens and bedding, fan, charging station, white noise machine, and blackout shades. Everything you need is here - board games, yard games, and Samsung Frame smart TV ready for your Netflix, Hulu, or streaming with minimum 100mbps wifi.

Going out? Check out world-class microbreweries the next block down. The Palms offers not only legendary steak in a throwback dining experience, but also indescribably great music and dancing for everyone. And in the morning you can’t beat Esau’s or The Worker Bee Cafe for the best omelette around.

Should you want to leave Carp’s idyllic downtown, Santa Barbara’s wineries, Funk Zone (our favorite!), Zoo, State Street, Courthouse, and fine dining is either a quick 12 miles up the 101 or one Amtrak stop away: the train station is two blocks from the front door.

We fell in love with this truly one-in-a-million property right in the middle of Carp's downtown district – walk out the front gate and look down at the beach an easy few blocks’ walk. Grab groceries across the street, settle in, and watch the comings and goings from the front porch as you make memories that last a lifetime. We are so thrilled we get to share it with you!

PLEASE NOTE: Construction began 10/3/2022 on a large development project at 700 Linden Avenue, across the street from our property. While we of course have no control or knowledge of the daily work timeline of this project, it is likely that daytime construction activity and noise will be present on weekdays and some weekends for upcoming stays from this date through 2024. While we regret that we have no way of reducing impact to our guests, we want you to be aware so you're not surprised if the above activity is going down across the street.
